Men charged over interstate drug run

Two truck drivers have been charged with drug trafficking offences after police busted a cannabis run between Melbourne and Darwin.

About five kilograms of the drug and more than $30,000 were found in two trucks at an Adelaide depot last week before police arrested a 24-year-old Victorian man in Melbourne and a 56-year-old Northern Territory man in Darwin.

Both were charged with drug trafficking offences and will face court at a later date.
