"All trains will remain at platforms until further notice," the service wrote.

"Select services may terminate/originate at intermediate locations."

The issue has since been resolved but knock-on effects remain in place.

People are urged to allow extra travel time, listen for announcements and check platform displays.

Travellers are warned that trains may be less frequent than normal and that stopping patterns may change at short notice.
