Two men have been arrested in Ashwood over a series of fires in suburban Melbourne.
The men, aged 31 and 32, were arrested on Friday morning over 18 fires that were lit in the Ashwood area between February 3 and Friday.
They were charged at an out-of-sessions hearing with 18 counts of intentionally cause bushfire.

The 31-year-old has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court on Saturday.
The 32-year-old was bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court on Monday.
