Vic woman accused of murder coming off ice

A Melbourne woman charged with stabbing a man to death on the weekend is coming off the drug ice, a court has heard.

Brittany Johnstone, 21, was charged with murder after police found the body of a 30-year-old Werribee man in a Yarraville house on Sunday night.

Lawyers for Johnstone told the Melbourne Magistrates Court she was being treated for depression, anxiety and was withdrawing from ice.

She has been remanded to return to court on July 28.
