Man stabbed in stomach in Melbourne daylight attack

A man has been stabbed in the stomach in inner-city Melbourne.

The victim was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital after the incident in Drummond Street, Carlton.

Police say the offender has not been located and it's not clear whether the two were known to each other.
