Man killed after car slams into tree in north Melbourne
Police are working to identify a man killed in a crash in north Melbourne overnight.
It's believed the man's car lost control at Lalor around 2am.
Police said the Suzuki Swift was travelling north along Dalton Road when it left the road and hit a near near Monash Street.

The man was the car's only occupant.
He died at the scene.
