McDonald's coronavirus: Craigieburn outlet closes as employee tests positive
Another McDonald's outlet has fallen victim to the coronavirus crisis, with a staff member testing positive to COVID-19 in Melbourne's north.
A McDonald's Craigieburn employee has been diagnosed with the virus, causing the restaurant to close immediately.
"The Department of Health has confirmed an employee at the McDonald's Craigieburn restaurant has tested positive for COVID-19," A McDonald's Australia spokesperson said.

"Out of an abundance of caution we have immediately closed the restaurant.
"All Craigieburn employees have been instructed not to return to work for 14 days and advised to be tested."
The staff member last worked at the outlet on May 12. They have been identified as an extended relative of one of the previously announced COVID-19 cases at the Fawkner outlet.
The outbreak at the McDonald's Fawkner is now linked to 10 of the state's COVID-19 cases, with four staff members infected.
McDonald's Australia confirmed the employee had not worked at the Fawkner restaurant.

"We have spoken with the employee and confirm they are self-isolating at home with little to no symptoms," the spokesperson said.
The restaurant has been shut down while it undergoes a thorough deep clean.
"We are communicating with all employees and continue to work collaboratively with the Department of Health.
"The decision to immediately close and deep clean the restaurant is over and above the Department's requirements."
