Video has emerged of a maskless woman blasting residents for holding a lively neighbourhood street concert in Melbourne.

Neighbours were seen standing out the front of their homes in St Kilda, enjoying the entertainment presented by two residents from their driveway on Thursday afternoon.

The residents had set up a sound system and were singing Barbara Streisand show tunes to the delight of their neighbours.

"It's a little bit of joy after working hours," a resident can be heard saying in the video.

But the woman refused to budge and demanded quiet.

"We are trying to work," she said.

3AW caller Dave told Ross and Russel most people loved the show, as it lifted people's spirits during lockdown.

"Kids were playing, people sitting in their driveways social distancing and drinking champagne," he said.

"'Karen' turned up, got out of her car without her mask on, and gave them a spray because it was too noisy."

The entertainers resumed the show after the woman left, but police reportedly arrived and shut down the show 10 minutes later.
