Mascot supermarket robbed by knife-wielding man

Police have released CCTV of a hooded man after a Sydney supermarket was held up.

A male employee was threatened with a knife after a man entered a supermarket on King Street in Mascot just after 7pm yesterday.

The armed man took money from the cash register and fled on O’Riordan Street, according to NSW Police.

Investigators released footage of a man described as being in his late 20s that they believe could assist with their inquiries.

He is about 173cm tall, with a slim to medium build and tanned complexion.

The man was wearing a navy hooded jumper, black hat, blue jeans and white shoes.
