A former AFL player accused of a violent crime allegedly slipped out of a Perth court, triggering an overnight manhunt.
Martin McGrath, who played for the Richmond Tigers in 2003, left the court just hours after being charged over a brick attack, sparking an overnight manhunt.
The 36-year-old left the district court yesterday afternoon, just hours after appearing over the alleged viral assault.

He has been remanded in custody after being accused of hurling a brick at teenager Brandon Jackson in Cloverdale last month.
The teenager was knocked off his motorbike and left in a coma for two weeks.
Mr McGrath allegedly never got on the prison van he was supposed to leave on.
Security subcontractor G4S is investigating the bungle, overseen by the Department of Justice.
Mr McGrath will front court again tomorrow.
