Jaguar driver charged with manslaughter after Perth crash

A 45-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter after a deadly crash in Perth.

At about 10.15pm on Saturday, February 15, a blue Jaguar sedan and white Honda Jazz hatchback collided on Birdwood Parade near Waratah Avenue in Dalkeith.

The 25-year-old man driving the Honda was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

His passenger, a 24-year-old woman, was also taken to hospital but died a short time later.

The 45-year-old man driving the Jaguar was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

He has since been charged with manslaughter and aggravated dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm.

He will appear in court today.
