Attacker on the run after woman stabbed at home north of Brisbane

A woman is in a critical condition in hospital after she was stabbed in the face, chest and legs in Queensland's Moreton Bay region.

Emergency services were called to a home in Kallangur around 7pm yesterday to find the injured 37-year-old woman, who was taken to Royal Brisbane Hospital.

She remains in a critical condition.

Her attacker remains on the run.
