Man who disappeared while swimming off Noosa two months ago found alive in NSW

A man has been found in NSW after last being seen in the water at Noosa, Queensland. (9NEWS)
A man last seen diving into the ocean at Noosa on the Sunshine Coast almost two months ago has been found alive and well in New South Wales.
Ricky Gardner, 37, was wanted on outstanding warrants and swam into the sea to avoid police in early January.

His disappearance sparked a major air and land search of the Main Beach area.
However, authorities failed to find him.
Last night, Mr Gardner handed himself into a police station in northern NSW.
He is being questioned by police.
