Man threatened with gun in regional NSW

Two men have been charged with assault, stalking and using a gun to threaten a man in NSW's south.

It's alleged the men, aged 28 and 31, had an argument with a third man at a house in Albury on Thursday at 3am (AEDT).

Police say the 31-year-old threatened an 18-year-old man with a firearm before leaving the house with the 28-year-old.

When officers located the pair at another house, the two men allegedly refused to leave the property and threatened police.

Officers restrained and arrested them, and seized a firearm.

Police have since charged the 28-year-old man with being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence, common assault, possessing an unregistered firearm in public, stalking/intimidating, breaching bail and self-administering a prohibited drug.

He was refused bail to appear at Albury Local Court on Friday.

The 31-year-old has been charged with being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence, common assault, possessing an unregistered firearm, stalking/intimidating, breaching bail and resisting police.

He was also refused bail to appear at Albury Local Court on Friday.
