Man struck by car while changing tyre on Sydney road

A man has suffered an injury to his leg after he was hit by a car while changing his tyre on a roadside in Sydney’s south-west this morning.

The 23-year-old Harrington Park man had stopped on Waterworth Drive in Narellan about 6.15am when he was hit by a car being driven by a 26-year-old woman.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics before he was taken to Liverpool Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver is assisting police with their inquiries.
