Man steals cash during armed robbery at Parramatta business

A man has threatened a shop attendant at gunpoint during a robbery in western Sydney yesterday evening, before fleeing the scene with cash.
Detectives have set up a crime scene at the business in Church Street, Parramatta, after the man allegedly entered the store around 5pm and threatened the attendant with a firearm while demanding cash.
The man fled the shop on foot, with cash, and was last seen running south along Church Street.
No one was injured during the holdup.
Police from the Parramatta LAC have described the perpetrator as being of Asian appearance, about 25-30 years of age, around 170cm tall and of a thin build.
He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, cargo shorts, glasses and a black hat.
