Alleged muffin-eating burglar charged in Melbourne
A burglar in Melbourne who allegedly stopped for a quick snack in a victim's house before making off with their car has been charged.
A man allegedly climbed through the window of a house on Pakington Street, Kew, at about 5.30am on August 6.
He stole shoes, a bag, mobile phones, and car keys, before eating two muffins that had been left out on the kitchen bench, police claimed.

Police earlier released images of a man they believed could assist their investigation. Victoria Police
After leaving the house, he allegedly stole a 2018 Toyota Landcruiser with the Victorian number plate ASI169.
A 28-year-old man of no fixed address has since been arrested and charged with multiple offences including aggravated burglary and car theft.
The Landcruiser is still missing.
The man was bailed and will face court on November 1.
