Man rushed to hospital after being stabbed with kitchen knife

A man has been rushed to hospital after allegedly being stabbed in the chest with a kitchen knife.
Emergency services were called to a property in North Sydney just before 3pm.
They found a man, aged in his 40s, who had been stabbed about seven times.

He has been taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious condition.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation is underway.
