Murder charge over Bondi unit stabbing

A man in his 20s has been charged over the stabbing murder of a person in a North Bondi unit last night.
The 27-year-old Bondi Beach man was refused bail this afternoon after police accused him of killing a 26-year-old man who died in hospital earlier in the day from "severe abdominal and head injuries", police said.
The victim was allegedly stabbed after the accused entered the unit about midnight on Saturday.

The two men knew each other.
The alleged attacker was treated for facial injuries in hospital before he was charged ahead of an expected appearance at Waverley Local Court tomorrow.
