Man stabbed in Sydney home attack

A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a stabbing in Sydney's west.

The 20-year-old allegedly stormed into a house in on Feramin Avenue in Whalan at about 3.45pm and began punching a 22-year-old inside.

He chased the man outside and allegedly stabbed him several times in the leg.

A 24-year-old man joined in and began punching and kicking the 22-year-old when he was on the ground.

Police later arrested the 20-year-old. He was taken to Mt Druitt Police Station and charged with wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, malicious damage and affray.

He was refused bail to appear at Mt Druitt Local Court on Monday June 2.

The 24-year-old later attended Mt Druitt Police Station and was arrested.

He was charged with aggravated assault and affray and given conditional bail to appear at Mt Druitt Local Court on Thursday June 26.
