Man shot in leg and arm after 'altercation'

A man has gunshot wounds to his leg and arm after an altercation with a group of men in Melbourne.

Police and emergency services found the 31-year-old with non-life threatening arm and leg injuries after being called to a Preston home about 12.45am today.

He was transferred to the Royal Melbourne hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Authorities said the victim is not cooperating with police.
