Man seriously injured after being mauled by three-metre bull shark off WA coast
A man's arm has been almost severed in a shark attack off Western Australia's coast.
Robbie Peck, 38, was spearfishing offshore from Port Headland when he was attacked by a three-metre bull shark.
The incident occurred just after the father-of-three caught a fish on Friday morning, according to the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development.

The father-of-three's arm was almost severed in the incident, which took place in front of his son and brother Nine
He was diving for a catch on a boat with his five-year-old son, a friend and his brother-in-law 11 kilometres off the coast about 11.30am when he was blinded-sided by the predator.
They acted quickly, making a tourniquet with a weight belt to stem the bleeding.

Witnesses describing the frantic rescue mission, say the engineer was bitten up to three times, on his shoulder, underarm and hand, suffering traumatic injuries.
Peck made it back to shore, stretchered to a waiting ambulance by a team of police, paramedics and strangers before being rushed under the highest priority to Hedland Health Campus.

The Royal Flying Doctor Service was on standby and took him to Perth for emergency treatment.
"It's tragic. No-one wants to lose an arm or leg when they go spearfishing," Port Headland Mayor Peter Carter told 9News.
"It's very unusual, we don't normally get shark attacks in Port Hedland. They're very, very rare."
