9NEWS
Police have removed a wheelbarrow and a large roll of carpet from a granny flat in Epping after a man’s body was found yesterday in a nearby reserve.
Homicide squads attended the flat on Windermere Street and established a crime scene while investigators await the results of a post-mortem on the man, aged in his 20s, which is expected to be conducted tomorrow.
The body was found in scrub between the M2 motorway and Romford Road around 5.30pm and forensic teams scoured the scene late into last night.
