Man runs cruiser up a NSW beach

A man who ran his 33-foot cruiser up a NSW beach has been charged with alcohol offences.
The 55-year-old was navigating the vessel from Port Stephens to his home state of Queensland.
When the cruiser reached Cape Hawke Harbour at Forster it ran aground on Main Beach.

The man was breath tested and charged after allegedly returning a high-range reading.
He's due to appear in Taree Local Court on Tuesday while authorities seek a crane to remove the boat.
