Man captured robbing bank armed only with handwritten note

A bank robber who used a handwritten note to get cash in Perth has been caught on camera.

The man allegedly targeted two banks last week without using weapons. and escaping with a sum of cash.

During the first robbery at a NAB in Innaloo on Tuesday, he can be seen walking into the branch calmly wearing a hat and sunglasses.

The offender waits his turn in line and then speaks to the teller, handing over a note.

The teller quickly puts cash into the man’s backpack.

The second incident took place two days later at a bank in Bull Creek.

The man allegedly using the same method and was wearing very similar clothing but ran off just before staff hand it over.

The thief is light skinned, 45 to 55-years-old, approximately 165cm tall with a medium build.

Police are hoping given the quality of the vision and his poorly concealed face someone will recognise him.
