Man pleads not guilty to murdering wife

A man accused of bludgeoning his wife to death before her body was found by her daughter in their Sydney home has pleaded not guilty.
Tony Thao Do appeared in NSW Supreme Court on Friday and - speaking through a Vietnamese interpreter - pleaded not guilty to murdering his 54-year-old wife Kim Lien Huynh on September 13, 2012.
Police have previously alleged Do, then 58, bludgeoned Ms Huynh before she died in their Cabramatta home between 7pm and 8pm.

Her body was discovered on the floor by one of her daughters, 23, in the early hours of September 14.
Ms Huynh's daughters were in court on Friday to hear Do enter his plea of not guilty.
His trial, which will start on October 7, is expected to last four weeks.
