The search for a man missing in the flood-ravaged Forbes region in central west NSW will resume for a third day after 100 volunteers failed to find him.
The 49-year-old man was reported missing on Saturday at about 8.20am, and a search of the Burcher, Nerang Cowal and Lake Cowal areas was launched.
He was last seen about 12.30pm on Friday.
The man's boat trailer and car were found parked near the intersection of Marsden and Morello roads in Burcher. His boat was not located.
More than 100 volunteers and emergency services personnel spent Saturday and Sunday searching for him, and plan to resume their efforts on Monday.
The search comes as families in nearby Condobolin and Willow Bend, near Jemalong, have been told to leave their homes because of the risk posed by the rising waters.
The search will resume again about 7am on Monday.
