Vic man killed in ship accident at dock

A man has died in an industrial accident on a ship docked at Port Melbourne.
Transport company Toll Group says the man, aged in his 40s, is an employee and he died at its shipping facility in Port Melbourne on Tuesday afternoon.
While further details about the incident were not provided, the company said it would conduct a full investigation into what happened.

"Our thoughts are with the family, friends and colleagues, and counselling will be offered to all affected," Toll Group spokesman Christopher Whitefield said.
The Victorian WorkCover Authority is investigating the matter, media advisor Kate Fawcett said.
