Man killed in motorcycle crash near Cobar

A third man has died on NSW roads this Easter following a single-vehicle motorcycle accident in the state's central west.

Emergency services were called to Tilpa, about 30km north of Cobar, just before 2pm on Saturday following reports a motorcycle had crashed.

The 36-year-old rider died at the scene.

Also on Saturday a man died and a woman is fighting for life after a two car smash in regional Victoria.

The two cars collided on a freeway in Tynong on Saturday afternoon, killing the male driver of one car and leaving his female passenger with life-threatening injuries, police say.

The woman has been airlifted to a Melbourne hospital.

A man and a woman from the other car were taken to hospital by road with non-life threatening injuries.
