Two men killed in fiery head-on crash south of Sydney

Two men have died after two trucks collided, sparking an enormous blaze, south of Sydney this morning.

The trucks crashed head on along Picton Road at Wilton around 5am, causing one truck to roll and ignite.

A driver from one of the trucks was thrown from his vehicle and died at the scene.

The body of the second driver was found inside the burnt-out cabin of the vehicle that caught on fire. 

Video from the crash shows flames quickly engulfing the vehicle, sending thick smoke into the air.

Picton Road is closed between Almond Street and Macarthur Drive and is likely to remain closed for some hours.

B-Doubles are advised to use Appin Road as they are unable to travel on MacArthur Road and Wilton Road.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area or delay travel.
