Man fatally stabbed during argument at NSW Mid-North Coast home

A man has died after being stabbed in the chest during an argument at a home on the NSW Mid-North Coast.

Police were called to the Taree home just before 10pm yesterday and found a 48-year-old with a wound to his chest.

Paramedics could not revive him.

A 56-year-old man who knew the victim has been charged with murder and is due to appear at the Taree Bail Court on Sunday.
