Man kicked in head after being coward punched from behind

Disturbing vision has emerged of a cowardly attack where a man was kicked in the head just after being hit from behind.

The video, which was taken in Fortitude Valley on Saturday morning, appears to show one man throwing punches before his friend blindsides the victim by punching him in the back of the head.

As the victim lies unconscious on the ground, the original attacker then proceeds to kick him in the head.

Bystanders then stepped in to stop the victim suffering any further injuries.

The attack occurred at the entrance of the McWhirters Marketplace on Wickham Street.

A complaint is yet to be made to police.
