Delivery driver charged with indecent assault of three-year-old boy

A delivery driver allegedly indecently assaulted a child while he was taking food to a home in Sydney's west.

Police said the incident occurred at Greystanes yesterday afternoon, when the man was temporarily left in the presence of a number of children. 

He allegedly assaulted a three-year-old boy, and was then confronted by the boy's father before he drove from the scene, police said. 

Investigators arrested a 62-year-old man at a Greystanes restaurant last night, and he has since been charged with indecent assault of a person under the age of 16.

He was refused bail to appear at Fairfield Local Court today.
