Man in hospital after suspected baseball bat attack in Camden

A man is recovering in hospital after he was assaulted at a residence in Camden this morning.

Police were called to a home on Hawdon Close, Elderslie, around 4.20am following reports of an assault.

A 46-year-old man suffering from multiple injuries to his head, chest and back was found inside the home.

Police said the injuries suggest he was assaulted with a baseball bat.

The man was taken to Liverpool Hospital where he undergoing treatment for the injuries.
