Man's body found in Melbourne's north-east
A 50-year-old man's body has been found inside a north-east Melbourne home.
Police were called to at Palmyra Court, Greensborough when the man was found dead shortly after 11.30am.
A woman in her 80s has been taken to the Austin hospital in a stable condition where she remains under police guard.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the man's death.
The coroner has attended the home.
This is the second death in Melbourne's north-east today, with homicide squad detectives investigating the death of a woman in Mernda.

The woman's body was discovered at a property on Umbria Road about 4.10am today.
A man has been arrested in relation to the incident.
