Man found dead by side of the road in Queensland's Darling Downs

A man has been found dead by the side of a road in Queensland’s Darling Downs region.

A member of the public found the man’s body on Hamlyn Road in Oakey at around 4.45am this morning.

Initial investigations suggest the man may have been hit by a car.

Police are urging anyone who was in the area overnight to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
