Man fighting for life after stabbing in Echuca

A man in his 50s has suffered critical injuries after being stabbed in Echuca, a town on the Murray River in Victoria, this morning.

The man was found with stab wounds in the industrial area of Matong Road, Echuca, around 5.30am.

He was taken to Echuca Hospital with critical injuries and will soon been flown to Royal Melbourne Hospital, an Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said.

Police have established a crime scene and investigations are ongoing.
