Man fighting for life after Melbourne stabbing
A man is fighting for his life in hospital after a daylight stabbing in Melbourne yesterday.
Police say a man was stabbed on Victoria Street, near the North Richmond train station, at about 10.25am.
The 53-year-old was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A second person fled the scene on foot and has not been found.
Police are trying to find out if the pair were known to each other.
