Man fighting for life after Sydney high-rise balcony fall

A young man is fighting for life in hospital after falling from an eighth-floor balcony in inner Sydney.

Emergency services were called to the Waterloo complex early today and found a man aged in his 20s on the ground with critical head injuries.

A NSW Police spokeswoman said the man fell from the eighth floor.

He is in St Vincent's Hospital in a critical condition.

Police said the incident does not seem suspicious, but anyone with information is urged to come forward.
