Man charged with murder after 43-year-old stabbed to death in Brisbane

A man has been charged with murder after an alleged stabbing attack in Brisbane's southern suburbs.

Paramedics and police were called to a property on Birdwood Road in Holland Park West just after 3pm yesterday.

Police said two men were involved in a verbal argument before one allegedly produced a knife and stabbed the other in the abdomen. 

A 43-year-old man died at the scene. 

A 25-year-old man was taken into custody and was charged with murder overnight.

He is expected to appear in court later today.
