Man falls through roof during concert
A reveller at a music festival in Brazil became the focus of US rapper Busta Rhymes’ performance, when he fell through the ceiling of the complex mid-show last week.
Video filmed at Converse Rubber Tracks Live in downtown Sao Paulo, shows a man dangling from a hole in the roof of the Cine Joia club, high above a packed crowd.
Rather than stop the show, Busta Rhymes makes light of the man’s situation by turning it into a rap song.
In the footage, the rapper can be heard singing, “oh s----, there’s a guy on the roof” and joking that he was about to “bust his a--”.
Police allege the man was drunk and attempting to enter a restricted area above the stage when the plaster boards he was traversing gave way, the Globo.com news website reports.
He managed to climb back into the roof and sustained no serious injuries.
Festival organisers are yet to comment on the accident.
Converse Rubber Tracks Live is a series of music festivals featuring artists who have recorded at the New York recording studio of the same name.
