Drug dens uncovered on NSW Central Coast

A NSW Central Coast drug ring has been taken down by police following a series of raids.

Detectives executed raids on houses at Long Jetty, Tuggerah, North Entrance North, Blue Bay and Erina on Tuesday, and allegedly uncovered cocaine, methamphetamine and cannabis, along with cash and illegal weapons.

Four men - aged 38, 37, 29, 28 - were arrested and are facing multiple charges, including supplying illegal drugs.

The two men aged in their 30s were refused bail and will appear in Wyong Local Court on Wednesday while the 29-year-old was bailed and is due before the same court on July 23.

Police Strike Force Parkridge began inquiries into the alleged drug dens after officers searched a Long Jetty home on May 3, where they seized more than 4kg of white powder.

Police say laboratory analysis has since determined the powder to be cocaine and methamphetamine.

A 40-year-old man and 35-year-old woman were arrested and charged with large commercial supply of prohibited drugs.

Both will reappear at Wyong Local Court on August 27.

Inquiries by Strike Force Parkridge are continuing and further arrests are expected.
