Man dies in Qld petrol tank explosion

A man has died and another is being treated for serious burns after a petrol tank exploded at a cattle station in Queensland's far north.
The men, aged 60 and 48, were welding the tank at the western Cape York property when it exploded on Thursday afternoon, police say.
Both suffered serious burns and were airlifted to hospital in Cairns.

The 60-year-old man died on Friday.
The other is in a serious condition and being treated for extensive burns.
