Man killed in three-car crash near Picton, south-west of Sydney
The accident happened around 2.45pm this afternoon.
A man has been killed and a woman seriously injured in a three-car crash south-west of Sydney.
Police believe a ute clipped the back of a 4WD which then collided head on with another car on Picton Rd at Wilton on Sunday afternoon.
The 4WD driver was killed while his female passenger suffered minor injuries.
The woman driving the third vehicle suffered serious injuries after her Jeep caught fire.
She has been airlifted to Liverpool Hospital.
The ute driver suffered minor injuries and has been taken to hospital for mandatory blood and alcohol testing.
Picton Road is now closed in both directions between Macarthur Drive and Mount Keira Road.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
