Man dies after being hit by cyclist in inner Sydney

A man is dead after he was hit by a cyclist in inner Sydney.
At about 2.10pm yesterday, police were called to Regent St, Chippendale, where they were told a man was hit by a cyclist.
The man was believed to be in his 70s.

He was taken to hospital in a critical condition, where he later died.
The cyclist, a man believed to be in his 40s, was uninjured.
An investigation into the crash has begun, and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
