Man dead after truck, Mercedes collide in Sydney
A man has died after a truck and a Mercedes sedan collided in Sydney's inner west this morning.
At about 8am, the two vehicles crashed on Liverpool Road, Ashfield.
Paramedics treated the truck driver, a 61-year-old man, but he died at the scene.

The Mercedes driver, a 30-year-old man, was unhurt and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
An investigation is underway and both vehicles have been seized for forensic examination.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
