Man crushed after being trapped under car in Sydney’s west

A man has died after his car fell on him in Rooty Hill overnight.

Emergency services were called to the property on Rupertswood Road at around 8.30pm, after reports that a man was trapped under his car.

It’s believed the man was repairing the car at the time.

Paramedics and fire and rescue crews worked to access and save the man, but he was unable to be revived and died at the scene.

Rupertswood Road was closed off by police.

Investigations into the accident continue.
