A woman has died and another has been seriously injured following a stabbing in NSW early this morning.

A man has been charged with the repeated sexual abuse of a 13-year-old girl File

A man will face court after allegedly repeatedly abusing a 13-year-old girl in Sydney's south-west last year.

The man – aged 30 – was arrested yesterday and taken to Liverpool Police station where he was charged with 16 child abuse-related offences.

It is alleged the man assaulted the girl, from Bankstown, on multiple occasions between April and May, 2020.

He was charged with a number of offences including groom a child under 14 years for unlawful sexual activity, travel to meet child groomed for sexual activity, and number of counts of aggravated sexual intercourse with a child.

He was refused bail and will appear at Parramatta Local Court Later today.
