Celebrity chef's accused killer arrested

A man has been arrested and charged with the murder of celebrity Brisbane chef Peter Milos.

The 35-year-old Morningside man was arrested this morning, a Queensland police spokeswoman told ninemsn.

He has been charged with one count of murder and is due to face Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow.

It is not known if police are seeking any other suspects in relation to Mr Milos' murder, the spokeswoman said.

The restaurateur, 26, was found dead in the garage of his Morningside home on May 6.

He was a well-known former co-owner of the upmarket Mariosarti restaurant in Toowong.

A female acquaintance of Mr Milos' found the chef's body.

The arrested man is believed to be a friend of Mr Milos', The Courier-Mail reports.

Police are yet to release more details of the accused, including his name.
