Man charged with murder after 48-year-old woman found dead in Riverwood home yesterday

A man has been charged with murder after the body of a 48-year-old woman was found in Sydney's south yesterday.

Police attended a home on Kentucky Road in Riverwood about midday where they discovered the body of the woman in a bedroom.

A crime scene was established and police have charged a 50-year-old man with her murder.

The man was refused bail and will appear in Burwood Local Court today.
